As some of you know, I am working towards my goal of using up all of my paper scraps this year.  I found that I still have a few sheets of Make Waves papers leftover, so for this blog hop I chose to use our Basic Hearts Thin Cuts to create a four-leaf clover with these papers and make a simple St. Patrick’s day card.

DieNamiteBlogHop-CloverCard.jpg

I created the background by inking an embossing folder with Emerald Ink, then placed a piece of White Daisy cardstock into the folder, and ran it through my machine.  I really like how it adds texture to the card.  My four-leaf clover was cut from Emerald Cardstock and Make Waves paper using two sizes of the Basic Heart Thin Cuts, then layered with Thin 3D Foam tape. The stem was cut out by hand, and a bow created from White and Gold Ribbon, then added to the clover.  After cutting out the banner, I stamped the sentiment in black ink, attached it to the card, and added some Gold Pearls for embellishment.

This card was super-simple to make and will be fun to send out on St. Patrick’s Day.  You can continue through the blog hop and see more ideas from fifteen other Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using our Thin Cuts as well as other great Close to My Heart products on their blogs.
